Potential for new directions at CHE as MSc is discontinued

Due to impending changes to the funding structure of the MSc Human Ecology, reflecting wider changes in Strathclyde University’s approach to funding Masters courses, the CHE Board of Directors has decided that we are unable guarantee the quality of the course beyond the graduation of our current cohorts. We will therefore not be offering the course to a new intake in September 2009.

CHE in "Green New Deal" letter to G20 heads of state

In a recent letter to the G20 heads of state, the Centre for Human Ecology was one of 11 signatories, alongside the United Nations Environment Programme, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, the International Trade Union Confederation, WWF International, etc.

MSc in Human Ecology

Please note:  the Centre for Human Ecology will not be offering the MSc Human Ecology in partnership with the University of Strathclyde from September 2009. We would like to thank prospective students for their interest in our programme, and invite them instead to join a short course. Spiritual Activism, Action Research and Ecopsychology will all continue to be available for CPD students from September 2009. Provisional Dates are Eco-psychology (Jan-May 2010), Spiritual Activism (Jan-May 2010) and Action Research (Oct 2009-Jan 2010). Click to download the full timetable of courses for 2009-10 here
