The course has really boosted my confidence ... I have become a genuine change agent through CHE.

In the Air: Hope for Earth Soul
Written by Sarah Heap
Wednesday, 10 December 2008

Where have we gone today?
Forgetting the majesty of palaces once dwelt
The forests and oceans and skies
Great buzz of teaming life we shared

Now false thrones dominate
Great violence!
Grubbing up the pillars of life
Killing creatures small and large
Filling lungs with poison

I shed a tear for you nature
Remembering you
I long for you my dying relative
Birth mother - provider

But your blood still runs through my veins
The same pulse that impels each seedling new
Let me remember you with every breath I take
And, even more,
Let each human soul find their way home
To palace Earth

Let the flame of our hearts rekindle the spark that connects
With awareness that we are all the same
And stop this game

Sarah is a current student on the Human Ecology MSc.
