Participatory Appraisal Event
Written by Nick Wilding
Wednesday, 19 October 2005

Over  the  last  two years or so the Social Inclusion project of Oxfam's UK Poverty  Programme  has  been working on the development of a Participatory Appraisal Network (PA Network) for Scotland. You are invited to an event on the 22nd November where Nick Wilding, CHE Fellow, will present findings of the scoping research.

To  date the development of this Network has incorporated the setting up of a  steering  group,  various  seminars, focus groups and e forums.  The steering group contracted the Centre for Human Ecology to undertake some of this development work during Spring/Summer 2005.

As the initial  development part of the project is now coming to a close Oxfam and the  Steering  Group  would  like  to  invite  you  to an event on the 22nd November at the Dewar's Centre in Perth where Nick Wilding, CHE Fellow, will present the findings of the scoping research, before collectively discerning the interest, motivation and resources  available for the future of such a group.

To attend on the 22nd, get in touch with Emma Jermy at Oxfam either via email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or fax to:  0845 900 2233 (marked for the attention of Emma) by Wednesday 16th November.
