I am a fan of the Centre for Human Ecology, which quietly brings great credit to Scotland.

MSc: Do I need to live in Glasgow?
You can take the MSc even if you don't live near Glasgow. However, you will need to attend intensive study schools in Glasgow on a regular basis. We do not offer the course by distance learning.

If you take the course full time, you should expect to have a study school every 3 to 4 weeks from the end of September to the end June. Part time students will have a study school every 6 to 8 weeks over two years (excluding the summer).

In the past part time students have taken the course while living and working as far afield as Devon, Orkney and Sweden. We recommend that full time students live within easy reach of Glasgow.
